Where we stand
Come and fight with us
Legends [LGD] is an open alliance: there is no power requirement to join. We run on UTC+0 and plan every rally, Bear Hunt and event in Discord.
Kingdom 880 is treated as Generation 6. Generation 7 and 8 heroes stay in a "future reference" view until we unlock them.
Six things every Legend should know
The short version of what our testing and sources agree on.
Honest numbers
Every calculator explains how its total is worked out, and the Data tab lists where each number comes from and how sure we are. When we don't know something, we say "not verified". We never fill a gap with a guess.

What do you want to work out? Answers update as you type.
How many troops the march carries, and the tier and Truegold level of each troop type.
Your solo stats
Attack a beast on the map with the three heroes you use, open the battle report, and copy Attack, Lethality, Defense and Health for each troop type.
These are example numbers. Replace them with yours.
Your heroes
One hero of each troop type, as the game allows. Their stats are already in your report; their skills are added here.
Pets
Off unless you turn them on. Leave them off if your beast report was made with pets active: their skills are already in your stats.
The town you attack
Your alliance's average town unless you change it. Its scout report shows its heroes and any reinforcements.
Change its troops average town
Scouted a town? Put in its numbers.
Its heroes
One of each troop type, as the scout report shows them. Their skills and defensive widgets count for the town.
Reinforcements
Their heroes: only the first four reinforcements' first-hero skills count, highest skill levels first.

What this model assumes: test these
How this is worked out
- The target is the average of your alliance's scouted towns: its troop ratio, its size, and the tier and Truegold level most of its troops have.
- Every ratio in 5% steps is tried against it with the same battle model as the Rally leader tool. The one shown defeats the most town troops for what it loses.
- Hero skills and pets multiply on top of your report stats: the same kind adds, different kinds multiply. A skill with a chance counts at its average.
Quick ratios for other marches
- Bear Hunt · 10 / 30 / 60Reached about 99% of the top damage on the account it was tested on.
- Rally, by generationGen 1: 10 / 30 / 60 · Gen 2: 10 / 20 / 70 · Gen 3: 10 / 10 / 80 · Gen 4 and later: 1 / 10 / 89. Community rule of thumb, not verified.
- Alliance Championship · 50 / 20 / 30A balanced baseline when you do not know the matchup. Community rule of thumb, not verified.
- Garrison defense · 60 / 15 / 25Leans on infantry to hold the line. Community rule of thumb, not verified.

Advanced: troop skill multipliers
Some troop skills (for example Archer or Cavalry Truegold abilities) change damage for one type only. Leave these at 1 unless you know the value.
What mattersAnything within about 90% of the top is a wide sweet spot, so don't chase decimals. Never send zero of a troop type.
Why there is no single perfect ratio
- The sweet spot is wide. In a controlled test on one account the best split was 3 / 28 / 69, and 10 / 30 / 60 reached about 99% of it.
- Never send zero of a troop type. The bear counts about 5,000 troops. Damage grows steadily below that per type and fades above it, so an empty type wastes damage.
- Your stats move it. Archer T7+, Truegold levels, some Cavalry Truegold levels and Gen 4+ heroes all shift the best split. Check it against your own numbers.
How this is worked out
- Damage per troop type scales with the square root of that type's troop count, times the square root of the smaller total army (the bear has 5,000 troops). The best split therefore gives each type a share proportional to the square of its strength.
- Base attack comes from the published battle table for the tier and Truegold level you pick. Archers get the +10% ranged bonus against the bear.
- This community model reproduces a published worked example exactly, but it ignores hero skills and some troop abilities. Use the advanced multipliers if you know them, and confirm with a test rally.
A first model, built to be tested. It uses community battle maths and skill values. Every assumption is listed under the result, so you can check it in the game and replace it with your own data.
Attack or defend?
Every troop in the rally: yours and the joiners'.
Your stats
Attack, Lethality, Defense and Health for each troop type, from a battle report with your three heroes. The report already carries your heroes' stats.
These are example numbers. Replace them with yours.
Your heroes
The leader's three heroes: their skills and widgets apply to everyone in the rally.
Joiners
Only four joiner skills count: the first skill of each joiner's first hero, highest skill levels first.
Pets none
Other buffs none
Hero skills not on file, city buffs and anything else your report does not include. Same kind adds, different kinds multiply.

What this model assumes: test these
How this is worked out
- Each step, every troop type hits the front-most enemy type still standing. Kills grow with the square root of that type's troops times the smaller army's total, times base attack over the target's base health, times your Attack × Lethality over their Defense × Health.
- Skills, pets and widgets: the same kind adds, different kinds multiply. Enemy-down effects divide the other side's numbers. A skill with a chance counts at its average.
- The fight runs until one side is gone. "You keep" is the share of your troops still standing at the end.
- With their ratio unknown, the ratio shown is the one whose worst result, across 66 ratios they might use (10% steps), is the best. With their ratio known, every ratio in 5% steps is tried against it.
Skills in the march
Joiner and leader skills. Name what each one boosts, then its percentage.
How this is worked out
- Bonuses of the same kind add together. Different kinds multiply: two kinds at a% and b% give (1 + a/100) × (1 + b/100) − 1.
- A simplified model of the combat formula. It shows how skill bonuses combine, not the exact damage of a battle.
Your numbers
Percentages for one stat, for example Attack. The example values are already filled in.
From gear, research and heroes.
Widgets, pet, city and appointments, added together.
For example an enemy's attack down.
How this is worked out
- Special bonuses (widgets, pet, city, appointments) do not multiply each other: their percentages add up, and the total is applied once to the stat you already have.
- Enemy-down bonuses divide the boosted value, so a 20% enemy attack down is not a straight 20-point cut.
- Community-documented formula, checked against its own worked example in the self-checks on the Data tab. Not official.

The €1.19, €2.49 and €3.49 top-ups have no USD tier yet. Guessing one would mean inventing a price.
